I hope this isn't against the rules, but I'm trying to find an old story and I was wondering if anyone remembers it. I think I read it on eunuch archive or Google groups. 

The story was about a man who meets a lesbian and they fall in love (I think they get married). The relationship is fine but all of her old friends stop speaking to her because she is now with a man, she becomes depressed. He decides that he should be castrated. Since he no longer counts as a man, her friends flock back to her. It was a surprisingly sweet story, there was no violence but a lot of peer pressure.
