Apologies if this is not allowed, but I was wondering if anyone could help me find this story I read a few years ago.
A man meets and falls in love with a lesbian. They begin a relationship (and get married I think?) and are quite happy together. However, the woman was very close to her gay friends and they all shun her for ‘going straight’. This seemed to be based on the film Chasing Amy.
The woman becomes lonely and depressed. Eventually the husband decides that he should be castrated (or full nullification?). I can’t remember who floated the idea, the husband may have come up with it himself, or maybe it was the wife or friends.
Once he has been castrated, her friends all come back, they’re quite friendly with him now as he is no longer a man, they treat him as one of the girls.
The thing I remember about it was how loving and caring the story was, most ballbusting and castration stories focus on brutality and gore, this was almost sweet.
