I'm thinking of doing a bootcamp through Lighthouse Labs in Toronto. They boast high job placement rates post grad. I would hope to work for a big tech or financial company as a software developer after finishing. Here's a link to the course descriptions https://www.coursereport.com/schools/lighthouse-labs#/courses
I'm worried about getting the right skills out of it. A lot of job ads I see list Java, Python, and C++ as desired languages. These bootcamps teach Javascript for the web development, and Objective C and Swift for the iOS development. Will those languages plus the other skills listed in the bootcamp course description actually help land a developer job?
Should I go with iOS development or web development? Which is more in demand? Which will pigeon-hole me less? Is it a matter of preference or are there real, important differences to consider?
