Hello,
I just bought Astell&Kern Billie Jeans, haven't tested them out yet, but I have a gift card and am looking for a portable DAC/AMP to go with them. I listen to music from Spotify on my Samsung Galaxy S10e. The Billie Jeans have an impedance of 18ohms and sensitivity of 119dB, so they are very sensitive and low impedance. I probably don't need an amp, but I am interested in what difference a DAC would make. I would like to reduce white noise as much as possible and improve sound clarity and quality as much as possible.
Does anyone have suggestions for my use case? A Dragonfly Black? Something as simple as a iBasso DC02?
I also have Audio Technica ATH-M50's that I would probably use the amp for sometimes(38ohm, 99dB). It would be nice to have a DAC/AMP that I could use in the future for higher impedance cans, but the priority is the headphones I have right now.
My max budget is $200 but I'm aiming more for $100.
Any advice appreciated! Thanks.
